One of our brewers, Matt, spends his weekends chasing lines in the backcountry. One tour, one photo, and one mountain stuck with him.

Our designer Andy turned that moment into the artwork. Matt turned it into a Black IPA. Now he’s standing on the roof of the brewery, holding the finished beer, with alpine peaks in the background.

Some beers have a story. This one has a journey.

The approach is deliberate, measured and full of anticipation. Darkside of the Mountain is a Black IPA built on classic West Coast hop intensity from Columbus, Mosaic and Chinook, layered with sticky dank resin, evergreen forest, spruce tips and hints of wild berry, finishing dry, clean and lightly roasty. It rewards the climb, the perseverance and the taste for adventure.
